Yes, as long as you and any drivers have had no more than 5 claims.
^ Back to topI want to use my car in relation to my business. Can you arrange insurance for me?
Yes, you will be able to select business use for the car during the quote.
^ Back to topI am currently insured through my employer to drive a company car. Do I qualify for a No Claims Discount?
Whilst you will not automatically qualify for a no claims discount in your own right, you may qualify for an introductory discount based on a safe driving history. The insurer will normally require a letter from your company to confirm your driving history on their policy. If you would like to know whether you will receive an introductory discount please call us on the number given.
^ Back to topWhat type of cover can I take out?
You can take out the following types of cover:
- Comprehensive covers your car if it is damaged or stolen, injury you cause to others, or damage to other people's cars or property.
- Third Party Fire & Theft covers your car only for fire or theft, injury you cause to others, or damage to other people's cars or property.
- Third Party Only covers injury you cause to others, or damage to other people's cars or property.
Can I pay by instalments?
Yes. Our instalment provider is Close Premium Finance. We will send your details to Close Premium Finance for them to set up your instalment plan and they send you the relevant documentation relating to your instalments.
^ Back to topCan I drive my car abroad?
Yes. Your insurance will cover you when you travel to a country within the European Union, Norway, Switzerland or Liechtenstein. The number of days varies between insurance companies, so you must check your documents for full details. If you are travelling to another country you must tell us about this and you may be asked to pay an additional premium.
^ Back to topHow do I make a claim?
You can ring the claims helpline on the telephone number in your document pack. Full details of the claims procedures are also in your policy documents.
^ Back to topWhat if I change my mind about this policy?
All products have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Should you wish to exercise this right, please return the certificate of insurance. We make a charge of £30 to cover the costs of setting up your policy, and additionally, you will be charged by the Insurer for the period of cover provided.
If the policy is cancelled after the 14-day withdrawal period we will make a cancellation charge of 25% of the refund due, subject to a minimum of £40.
We will not refund any of your premium if you have made a claim during the period of insurance, or if you have a pending claim. If you are paying by instalments you must pay the balance of the full annual premium.
^ Back to topWill I still get a certificate of insurance if I buy online?
Yes. We will send your certificate to you within 5 days of confirming your payment.
^ Back to topWhen will my cover start?
If you want immediate cover then your policy will commence as soon as your payment has been authorised. If you select a date in the future your policy will commence at midnight on the date selected.
